Chip Tournament SMS Notifications
Chip Tournament offers optional SMS notifications to help players stay informed during tournament play. Notifications are transactional and relate only to tournaments in which the player is participating.
Optional Participation
SMS notifications are completely optional.
Players are not required to receive SMS notifications to register for or participate in a tournament.
Players who decline SMS notifications may still participate normally.
How Players Opt In
During tournament registration, the Tournament Director asks each player whether they would like to receive optional SMS notifications related to their tournament participation.
If the player agrees, the Tournament Director enters the player's mobile phone number into Chip Tournament and sends a one-time SMS invitation.
The invitation explains the types of tournament messages that may be received, message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and how to obtain help or stop future messages.
The player must reply YES to the invitation before any tournament-related SMS notifications are sent.
No tournament-related SMS notifications are sent unless the player replies YES.
Types of Messages
Players who opt in may receive transactional tournament notifications including:
- Tournament start notifications when the Tournament Director enables the tournament viewer
- Table assignment notifications
- Opponent information
- Tournament viewer links when available
- Tournament status updates

Message frequency varies based on tournament participation and tournament activity.

Help
Players may reply HELP for assistance or contact Billiard Labs at admin@billiardlabs.com.
Opt Out
Players may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving Chip Tournament SMS notifications.
Privacy
SMS consent is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
